Step One

This is a bubble. Double click the bubble. It is in fact somewhat alive now thanks to you, and it's emitting a sound. Want it to stop? Double click it again. Click and hold and you can drag that bubble all over that screen. Where do the bubbles come from? Anyone with a profile can post sound bubbles that adhere to the user agreement.

So, what's the big deal? Well ...

Step Two

OK, now there are two bubbles. Double click one bubble and wait ...

Yes, you just witnessed one bubble's activation jump to its neighbor bubble, and back again.

See that idle bubble in the corner? Wake it by double clicking it. Notice that it's not affecting the bubble couple because they are not touching. So, drag it over to the gang and let them touch a little.

Honestly, I'm proud of your accomplishments already.

Step Three

Now, this looks nice. And wow, the ways in which the jumping advances and alters the sound field is quite exhilarating. You're really digging playing with the size and placement of the bubbles too. Joy. At this point, even if they weren't your sounds to begin with, you are creating something new, you are composing.

Good, now get to work, but don't be an idle spectator. Even if uploading your own sounds is beyond your means for now, you could at least grab a basket of your favorite bleeps, blips, chugs, and wooshs' and title it something relatively uncreative like, My first bubble bath and then tell everyone you know about it. That's our plan at least.
